Meet Dawn Hopkins, Registered Valuer in Christchurch
We're delighted to introduce Dawn Hopkins, Registered Valuer in our Christchurch office.
Dawn grew up in Canterbury and has come home after five years valuing property in Queenstown and across Central Otago. She brings a sharp eye for residential and lifestyle property, a background in development work, and a genuine enthusiasm for the Christchurch market.
From Central Otago to Canterbury
Dawn holds a Bachelor of Land and Property Management from Lincoln University, specialising in Urban Valuation.
She spent around five years based in Queenstown, valuing property across the Central Otago region and gaining her registration as a valuer. It's a market that rewards local knowledge, with everything from high-end homes and lifestyle blocks to fast-moving development and subdivision.
While in the region, Dawn chaired the New Zealand Institute of Valuers Central Otago Branch. She organised professional development events for local valuers and represented the region at a national level.
Now back in Christchurch, Dawn is applying that experience to one of the country's most active property markets. She has a particular interest in economics and market trend analysis, which shows in the clear, well-reasoned advice she gives clients.
